Magnification is needed to see if it has the diagnostic die line through T of LIBERTY and the "rabbit ears" die chip next to the R of LIBERTY. I'd grade it VG-10 and I don't see any damage or obvious cleaning problems. I would absolutely send it to PCGS, NGC, or ANACS for authentication and grading. Great, great coin to inherit! KHald Valued Member United States 61 Posts	Posted 04/19/2011 3:41 pm My step dad was a serious collector through the 60's and 70's. Later he just would buy coins and 'hoard' them away. It has been a real adventure digging through all the piles of coins and coin stuff. I have always been partial to stamps but have bought Silver Eagles and Uncirc sets over the years. I fear I have been bitten by the coin bug. The task now is to decide what to keep and what to sell. I guess I could have worse problems. Report this Post to the Staff
