Could some give me an idea of what this coin is worth, in the cherry pickers book I think it's a FS-401. This coin is not graded but I have a graded 1955 half dollar at MS-65 and I think this coin may look better. Anyone with knowledge on this coin please let me know what I have! Thanks

I would not call it a ms65 due to the chip on Francklyn's nose and the reeded bag mark by E pluribus Unum. Also there is some scratching on the cheek and the bell. I would go ms62-63.

Yep, that is the Bugs Bunny CPG variety. I would grade it MS-63, too many contact marks for 65, and it would have a modest premium over a regular 1955.

I knew there would be a difference in price, I didn't know if Cherry Pickers Guide may give prices. All in all I did good... only paid 20 dollars for the coin.

Funny, I was looking at one of these on ebay the other day - I was price shopping but do not remember the prices! Just do a complete auction listing.

Nice looking example. I would probably put this at MS-62 due to the amount of contact marks and chatter in the fields and high points. That's with the assumption that most or all of the original mint luster is still there.

Wow, kind of hard to say but I agree with MS62. This one is hard to see and you should probably have it in hand to grade. I would got to numismatic, coin values , and one other independent to determine value. Just remember that value is not necessarily is what the market will bear for the coin.

I have a ANACS MS-64FBL that I bought my daughter when she was about 3 years old. She used to get on my lap and look at coins with me and as soon as she heard there was a bugs bunny coin she begged me to find her one

My big question is whats it worth, does anybody have a clue to it's value. I want to be sure I didn't pay too much (20 dollars).

In my opinion for $20 you didn't pay too much. 1955 is a good date in the Franklin series in its own right, add in the bugs bunny and it's even more unique. You did fine!

mine is in a ANACS slab and I never thought it was worth sending to PCGS for regrading. What are these things worth today in MS-64 FBL?

Honestly, these things are quite common. Unless you have an MS65 FBL, you are not going to get any added value by getting it graded and the PCGS fees will pretty much equal or exceed the value of the coin.
