RollHunter Pillar of the Community United States 687 Posts	Posted 05/12/2011 02:08 am Got this one for my type set on the 'bay, and spend a few $$$ more than I wanted to. The scuffy looking white lines on the reverse pic are on the airtight not the coin. Opinions on the grade? I have hard time grading copper accurately for some reason, but it looks low MS to me. (and these pics remind me that I need to get a copy stand and a better camera - or a much steadier hand) Report this Post to the Staff

There appears to be a small nick on Lincoln's forehead, but other than that, it is very clean with even toning and a hint of red still showing. MS-65RB. The area directly above Liberty is coming out kinda weird, but I think it's just glare. MS65 though? Wow. The auction said MS64+, but I figured in ebay language that meant AU58. I'm really pleased with it - looks good next to my 1909 VDB in my vestigial 20th century type set. I paid $19.38 shipped, so I think I did pretty good! Report this Post to the Staff
