Congratulations! That's a fun set and I have no idea how difficult it was to pull together from Egypt but I'm sure it wasn't easy. Did you use ebay or other online sources at all? Any plans to add the 1970-D?

If you want I could probably find you a 1970-d in a shop around here.

EgCollector, That is awesome! What inspired you to work on the Kennedy half dollars specifically? Are you an avid Kennedy fan? -- Boris

Hmm Kennedys. I am trying to put a set of Kennedy 50c right now, but it must be 10 times harder in Egypt. Congrats. What inspired you?

It's a nice feeling to complete a project! Thank you Metalman and yes it is a very nice feeling... This folder has been missing the 1964 D and 1974 D and finally they came in a trade package fro USA. It is so frustrating to see the holes of missing coins for a long time and it took me about a year to add the last two but it is worth it

Thank you CelticKnot, it is not difficult to have a coin or two from any country but to collect a set by date of a country you are not living it... that was difficult and you dont have the luxury to select better grades. I did have some as a gift from US and Australian friends and others I obtained through trading with many members of CC forum. Regarding the 1970-D, I wish I will be able to add it someday, but offcourse I will not open a mint set to do that

You can say that I am A US coin fan well I am actually working on more than one US coin set. The Kennedy half's is one of them. The others are Jefferson nickel (13 coins to complete it), Roosevelt dimes (15 coins to complete it), State Quarter Series P and D (5 coins to complete it). I hope I would be able to complete these soon and when I do I will then concentrate with the most favorable US coin to me ...The Lincoln Cent.. IMO this coin is one of the legends of US coinage.
