Kills me when they tape the 2x2, yes TAPE, to the invoice, So then I have to try and untape it then take the coin out and put it in another 2x2. Crazy.
Best wraps though is when they use quality packing material and then seal up the coin in a cut piece of card board and the cardboard taped so the coin does not move around.

That self-sealing corrugated is by far the easiest material to use.
Shipping supply stores also sell a one-sided corrugated w/o adhesive that works well too.

Worst ebay package job I ever had was a coffee cup (I collect radio station mugs) dropped into a lightly-padded envelope from the UK. I never did find all the pieces so that I could epoxy together a complete cup.

how about a highly collectible $400 ceramic vase, wrapped in an old sweatshirt. Oh, and in the same box as a bunch of tools.

Real simple, this seller did not care, or is just too stupid. Negative feedback is what I have done in the past. Works great.

So I tried contacting the seller via ebay and of course no response has been returned after two days. What kind of feedback should I leave if at all?

What did you expect? You bought this coin from an ebay seller known as "crazycream36".

Sounds like a packaging job I would have expected from someone with such a legitimate business like handle.

Well like I said, with his/her feedback rate I assumed something much better. There's tons of reputable sellers with worse names.....

I know these "packing jobs" some people use are not funny, but I haven't laughed this hard in quite a while. I can't decide which was funnier, the spray foam insulation or the coffee cup in the padded envelope.

Like I said, it is comical....

For the life of me I dont understand the logic.

I ended up leaving neutral feedback....still never received a response from the seller....another reason I can't stand ebay.

I would have left negative for sure! Everything you explained warranted it.
CCFers: Just because someone has a great feedback history is no reason not to tell your side honestly. Neutral feedback is like getting a warning from a mall cop on a segway (no offense to Paul Blart). Don't be intimidated by their high feedbacks. This will only result in other people doing the same thing. Now if another buyers get the same course of action they may check the feedback and miss yours and not have the gull to act out.
Rest in Peace

I was at a potluck where a lady had made a beautiful dessert, and no one touched it. She was on the verge of tears. I fixed the problem by taking a large messy scoop right out of the center. The rest didn't last five minutes.

Ever attend a fried chicken banquet? Especially at a more upscale place? Everyone plays with their potatoes, stirs their kaughy, or otherwise stalls. Pick up a big chunk with your fingers, say "I love the chicken here", and watch everyone else in the hall pick theirs up.

Same thing on ebay. Seller has 100%, but did something really stupid, deserving a neg. Buyer figgers since the seller has 100%, maybe it's him, or at least doesn't want to smear the seller's rep.

Post a neg, and it will often be followed by a half dozen other negs, often within hours.

Perfect comparison. And so true--people move in herds.
