Does anyone own one or know where to get one?

This is the mule that has the olympic logo on obverse instead of the Paralympic logo.

Haven't seen any examples for sale anywhere, except the $1300 buy it now ebay one :).

Seems to be extremely rare.

I received one when I ordered from the Royal Canadian Mint

I ordered early when they first were issued maybe that is

why I got one.

Try talking to your local Dealer to see if he can help you.

I have some from the Petro Can station with the red maple leaf, 2008 made in 2007. You can have the trends price except I need a few more posts.
Keep smiling you will get what you wish.

Hi Danlos9551

I collect all types of mules and have accumulated 5 of the 2007 Wheelchair Curling Mules. The most I paid for one was $275 (my first one) and the least was $155. There is 1 available on ebay however the seller wants over a Thousand bucks for it. I see them sell at about the $400.00 mark, + or - 5 or 10 bucks.

Not talking about the cheap Petro Canada ones, there's 50,000 of those.

The wheelchair ones, have to be rare, perhaps < 100....I just got the ebay one for $450.

Its the only one I've seen :)

Yes danlos9551, we are talking about the same mule...Olympic symbol instead of the paralympic symbol. I just checked ebay and couldnt find any available. They do pop up every now and then so keep your eyes open. Very few dealers have them available as collectors like you and I snatch them up .
Good luck with your quest.

I got the one that was listed for $1300. Offered $450 and the seller took it. That's how I got two of my 2000 millenium map mules as well, just submitted my price and bingo.

These coins, if there's really < 100 known of the 2000 mule, and similar for the 2007 mule, should trade in the $3000-$5000 range...

Of course, that may take time :)

I have two of the 2000 map mules. One is MS 63 and the other is MS 64.
I plan on sitting on the mules and errors that I have for quite some time. As you say they will most surely rise in value.

Although rare these mules are all NCLT not business strikes,I believe in the loooonng term, high grade business strikes will be much more sought after.
Keep in mind too that only a fraction of the sets these mules come from are in the hands of collectors,Most are owned by kids with gifting grammas.

If Canadian coins ever catch on...I think these mules will catch fire because they're so rare...

Plus...the 2000 mule has a business strike obverse, making it all the more fascinating.

With only about 100 coins known...it will be very easy for someone (like me or darryl) to hoard them and make them impossible to get :D....

If I had all 100 samples I would keep the absolute best specimen and then wear down the 99 others to G. (Not defacing or destroying hehehehe) Collectors would go raging mad at the auction trying to obtain the one and only MS coin. lol

It almost certainly was attempted with the 1973 large bust 25c. Some dealer was trying to corner the market, way back when.
