Hi .

So I stared collecting recently .
At the moment I am working on penny Box`s half dollar box`s and etc..

Found a few interesting specimens I would like to share and get your opinions on their value and etc..

What are those bumps on the coin ? It looks like its a mint error .. right ?

The cent is just damage. Its worth the copper in it. The half looks like damage as well, even if it was a mint error, I doubt it would be worth more than .50 cents in that condition.
On the morgan, do you mean VAM?

welcome to the hobby......and the forum. Nice morgan, you can go to https://www.vamworld.com (or .org, I forget) to see all the discovered varieties of the Morgan dollars. The penny was stamped by someone - doesn't really affect the fvalue as it's only worht face value anyway. My opinion of the half dollar is that it's post mint damage, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, the Kennedy half and the Lincoln Cent are PMD or, post mint damage. Many causes for this, too many to mention. Basically, human intervention inflicting damage to a coin. The Kennedy looks like it was shot with a BB gun.
The Morgan looks nice and for $37, you did fine.

Tinofet, looks as if someone was trying to get Old Abe to talk. Your Kennedy I'm not sure on, but most likely post min damage. Your Morgan however from what I see looks to be in good condition, maybe MS63-65. I'm not sure as to all the varieties with them though. I'm sure someone with much more knowledge on them will chime in before too long.
BTY, WELCOME and enjoy!!!!!

Misaligned die, small percentage off. Not uncommon, now if were misaligned or off center enough to the point that some devices were missing, then that would bring in a small premium. Your training your eyes though. Keep it up.

So, on your Morgan, your arrows are pointing to areas that were overpolished on the dies. Overpolishing doesn't do much for the value, if anything, except on certain VAMs. However, it is still interesting to see all the areas that can be overpolished on dies. The spots on the wreath are pretty common areas for overpolishing. Beautiful coin, anyway, and a great deal at $37.
