Here's one of the gold coins from the estate I'm working with. The pic was taken through the capital holder it's in. I had this one out of the holder a couple weeks ago to weigh it & should have taken pics then. Anyway, I'm looking for grading opinions.

Photo is a little blured. If that is wear on the bonnet and eagles wing, AU55. If not MS.

A little "graying" on the Indian's cheek and in the reverse fields and a bit of rub along the edge of the eagle's wing and leg. AU-55 or possible AU-58; not MS.

I believe this to be an AU coin.

I know I say this each time one of these are posted but this is one of my favorite designs. I agree with the AU grade and I bet these things look good even if they are in G condition (don't think I have ever seen one in that grade) because the incuse design protects the details all the way down until the coin is almost worn slick

It's a tough call since I can't make out the luster from these shots(luster in the fields is soo important on grading higher end examples of these imo). My "gut" guess is AU-58 since the details look pretty strong. Is there a mm? I see a smudge, and sometimes these mintmarks are weak and barely discernable

What do one of these usually run at for a cost? I would LOVE to have a coin like this, just not buy it :)

No MM on this one. I really need to work on my photo skills. I've got several coins I'd like to post that I just can't get an image of.....if only SuperDave lived around the corner.
