Hit a garage sale first thing this morning
My reward 8 silver dollars for $10 each

Did some shopping, and errands decided to stop in and pick up some air-tites for the silver dollars

and well walked out with
3 2 oz JM bars and a 5 gram JM bar
never have seen these 2 oz bars before.

Thats one heck of a find, are the silver dollars each 1oz. Really like the 2oz bars. Its always a little bit more exciting when you break that one oz line at least for me. I'd love to come across some silver dollars at a garage sale. I started hunting last summer but no luck, but summers here again so the hunt is on. Thanks for posting.

Way to go. I stopped in at a few garage sales today and came up dry. At least someone scored. Was 1968 the cutoff for silver loonies?

1967 is the last year for silver dollars
1968 some quarters and dimes were 50%

Have never seen 2 OZ JM bars before so I had to buy all they had in stock.

WOW! You did very well. I like the 2 oz bars. Ok I can't lie I like the other items too. All I got from my garage sale adventures today was a 1964 Kennedy half for $12, and a 1916 Merc Dime for $2. Good score!

Way to go, swrbxxx! Great find at the garage sale. Those 2 oz bars are pretty cool too. I agree that grabbing all of them was a smart idea. I probably would have done the same. They are not all that common. All of the bars I have seen locally were 1, 5, or 10 oz. Nice additions all the way around.
