Since the State Quarters have been out I have been collecting then from circulation. I have yet to see a single National Park Quarter yet. The U. S. Territories were hard enough to find "in the wild" but these are proving impossible. Were these not released in large numbers or are they only available through certain sources or released in certain areas?

The banks are unable to specifically order the new releases like they were able to with the Statehood Quarters. They can only order "quarters" from their distributor, so whatever they get (new or used) is what they can distribute to their customers.

The nat'l park quarters have had consistently low mintages (compared to the State Quarters), so naturally they have been hard to find in circulation. But they are out there. I just found 2 more within the past 4 days, a Glacier and a Grand Canyon, both P's.

I have only gotten 3 ATB Quarters in the wild at this point. And crazy as it sounds (or does it?), I just yesterday received my first U.S. Virgin Islands quarter in change. Wow.

So you're not alone!

I have only found a few ATB Quarters in change.

Funny last Friday I took my new detector to the
beach, one of the quarters was a Hot Springs.

I've been finding some here and there. I have found a few provinces, but only three ATB since I've worked at the bank.

I see a fair amount (I guess that "fair amount" is relative) in the registers at work. I haven't paid enough attention to offer a count per day, but I definately see them. There aren't tons of them, but they are there. I live in Wisconsin if that helps anyone.
Rest in Peace

Doesn't sound crazy to me. Back in 2009 I found 1 Denver Washington DC, and 1 Philadelphia Puerto Rico. I haven't seen a single post 2008 quarter since then.
