Nope, nothing from the mint about my orders. The only update is the daily increment to the expected ship date.
At least I haven't gotten a cancellation notice.
Seems like the mint is processing the remaining orders a lot slower than the initial roll-out. It's getting very frustrating trying to make sense about the status as listed by the mint (what the heck does "in process" really mean), and all the various answers people have been getting from the mint about whether or not there are still sets remaining to be sent out.
The last time I spoke to the customer service folks I thought maybe being extra nice would get me some where, That's when I was told to send a letter to the Director of the Mint but using the address of the distribution site. I got an email back from the mint thanking me for complementing the courteous service I received, but nothing to acknowledge my comments about ordering problems and being unable to contact customer service, etc.
We all forget we are dealing with the government, the masters of mis-information. They can take any situation and turn it into positive spin. They probably are crowing about how quickly the anniversary sets sold out and aren't even commenting about the 'minor' ordering difficulties. Management where I used to work were able to twist facts and claim almost any disaster was a monumental success.

Congrats on the good news. I'm only a couple behind you now!
I just checked the Mint's website. Both of my unfilled orders are now listed as "in process" but further done the status says "in stock and reserved." The order numbers are 38384xxx and 38388xxx. The last order was placed only a couple minutes before 6 pm.
Good luck to the rest of you still waiting to hear from the Mint.

Scrap, the only thing I got was an email about some product they are selling. Maybe 5 ounce coins or something?. I deleted it before I read it on my Ipod. haha. But I just checked at 7:30 pm eastern today and the status changed from backordered expected to ship like 12/12/2011 to In stock and reserved. So hey maybe I still will get lucky.

Yes, charges are pending. The coins should ship tomorrow for a Thursday arrival.  Edited by BH1964

@Granite I appreciate the kind words. And jdfindring is the saintly member of CCF who traded me a set. If it were not for him I would not have one of these amazing pieces of ASE history. I actually went a step further than the previous post and contacted the office of the Associate Director of the Mint - B.B. King just to see if I could get around the buffer zones that has been set up. Since I have the time, I figured I would take the experiment a step further. However, he is not in - but on vacation - but his executive assistant is in on Thursday so I think I might introduce myself.  I figure if I am not persistent, then I will always wonder, what if I had.... Do I really expect to get anywhere? No - but I am having fun playing with the system and seeing just how far I can go. I have never been this "squeaky" of a "gear" before and its an interesting experience. How much squash could a Sasquatch squash if a Sasquatch would squash squash? I haven't yet received notification that my order 38384xxx shipped, but called the mint this morning, and the CSR told me my order is in shipping status, and should be going out the door in the next few days.

Price are dropping so I decided to let go of another set of the 5 I received. I parted 2 of them out last week on the bay for 850 net profit. I let one go to my LCS for $700.00, left a little on the table on this one. I could have asked for more, but giving him a good deal will keep my good deals coming. :)

No new news on my order. All that it says when I track my order on my mint acount is that my order request is in process. 1 unit backordered. Expected to ship on 12/14.
I hate this suspense. They haven't canceled it yet so I'm still hopefull.
