Are y'all thinking that this is a modern counterfeit or a counterfeit from the times when Trade dollars circulated? If the latter, wouldn't it be worth something? |

I've been collecting about 60 years now and am familiar with the Trade dollar series. The Trade dollar is the one coin I will NEVER purchase online. I have seen 99 counterfeits to one genuine coin. Even the slabs are now counterfeited, so you have no assurance a slabbed coin is genuine. I would only purchase through a local coin shop I trust or a reputable dealer at a show. |
