I'd say MS-64. Looks pretty mark-free, but based on these pics, I don't think there is enough luster to warrant a higher grade.

MS-63 to MS-64 range. I'll say 63+ but that could improve to 64 with more detailed photos.

Here is the seller's Obverse pic, the Reverse was too small and dark.

Nice one. Typical soft New Orleans strike.

The obverse has several very small contact marks on the cheek, hair above the ear, date, and neck. There is one more noticeable mark on the cap below the ribbon. I'm at MS-65 on the obverse.

The reverse is really nice. I can't see any distracting marks, and very few overall. I'm at MS-66 on the reverse.

I see the net at MS-65+.

My first thought was MS64 but after seeing all the pictures? MS65.

Marks are few and the soft breast feathers are probably strike weakness. The cartwheel may be strong in-hand but most of the photos show less than gem-quality luster. The cheek looks dull, maybe from "thumbing".

These photos don't show the "pop" I'd expect from a gem Morgan dollar. Maybe I'm just cranky but I'm thinking MS-63 or even a details grade due to altered surface.

I don't think the pics are doing it justice, I think there's some luster hiding. As stated, soft strike, but not bad. I'll be at MS-65. I feel depending how it looks in hand though. Could be a 1 point swing either way.

the 82(O) have typical average strikes. the reverse is a tad light for this year. the photos are making the luster look broken across the profile. it its consistent then MS65 otherwise I cant see it making that if the luster is missing

I've been having trouble getting the mint luster and cartwheels to show in my pictures, so I shot a couple short videos on my porch today. This captures the luster much better! Take a look...

The images are tough to use, since it's hard to really see the luster and the cartwheeling. It looks like the lack of big hits to the surface are offset by the weak strike and almost no breast feathers visible which is more typical of early to mid 1890s O-mint Morgans.

I have not seen the whole thread yet, since I wanted to try my hand at it. Looks like solid MS-65 surfaces, almost MS-66.... but the strike makes it closer to 63, so I'd guess 64.
