Put me in the XF camp. A difficult series to grade when you are used to others of the seated types and not frequently encountered to become consistent with grading these.

After spending some time between two different photograde sites, I must revise my previous assessment and call this one VF-25. This is one of those series that I may get the opportunity to grade once in a blue moon. This is a series where the 1875S has the highest mintage of somewhere around 1.3 million and the other dates and mints are so small. PCGS claims that of the 1875S (1.3 million), they estimate only 25,000 exist in all grades combined. That is a sleeper!

This is one coin I never bothered with but I'm basically with the majority with VF-35 to EF-40 . So what grade did they give it ?

Technical grade VF-30, but I could see this detailed. There is an old cleaning that may be market acceptable, but the contacts marks in the obverse field east of Liberty make me pause.

Mr Whatisit & TY2020b win. I also thought it to be over-graded when I bought it, though I don't agree it deserves a details designation.

I paid $430 for it, which is a steal by PCGS standards, but which NGC says is about right.

I was at EF/XF40 or 45 on this one, so many are really weakly struck. I think it's correctly graded, I don't think it deserves details either.
