What are the stand and your desk made from? Wood, plastic?

What are the stand and your desk made from? Wood, plastic? Both stands are made of plastic, also purchased from APMEX and it sits on a metal table that is built to elevate a computer screen.

That is some serious toning! I wonder what's causing that vertical line on the right side of the reverse?

May have been exposed to something before/while being owned by APMEX. The straight line is unusual, suggesting something slightly acidic (like a sheet of paper) laid across it.

Love Good Natural Toning....... Storage areas, Cool, Warm, Sunlit, Air Conditioners, Humidity, along with time..., All bring age or Oxidation, IF not controlled ,..... Thanks for Sharing....PS, Do I see a Die Chip in the letter " A " , In Doll ar, on the reverse,, Looks like it runs Through the Top of The A...... Also, The " E " , in On e, on the Reverse, Line under it, Looks like a Mess...?

Thanks everyone and I will look closely at the "A" and the "E".
Just amazes me that it happened so quickly, only my milk spots seem to come on so fast.

Well Silver will tarnish up pretty quickly if not covered or protected. Just sitting on your desk gathering up dust and other airborne contaminates will tone it out fast. At least it is a Bullion ASE and nit a Proof.

I'd be curious to see how it progresses and how quickly. If you want it to tone up keep doing what you are doing as it seems to be affecting the coin. It may take a few years depending though. http://goccf.com/t/354563

Thank you for posting that link! I was looking for that topic a while back, but could not find it. I thought I had it bookmarked. I do now.
