I was just wondering what coins set have you completed either at one time or another or currently own. I know some will not want to answer this for security reasons but if you fell safe to do it think it would be great to see some of our accomplishments.
So what coin set have you completed. you may also include the sets that you are missing maybe one or two key dates.

OK I will start.
1st. Mercury dime first set I ever finished. I should say almost I am missing the 1916-D but I still feel very proud of this set so wanted to add it.
2nd. BU American Silver eagle set.
3rd. 4 State Quarter D mint up to SD
4th. 1 State Quarter P mint set
5th. Don't know if I can count it but Silver Kiwi Bullion set sure there is only 3 so far but it is complete up to date.

I am in the middle of about 4-5 others that are just a few away.

Aussie 5 cent piece set (1966-2006) nearly complete, I need 1972 (low mintage) and 1985 and 1986 (mint sets only). This is the closest I have to a complete set.

Complete sets, mostly circulated business strikes:

Kennedy half dollars (1964 to present)
Sacagawea dollars (2000 to present)
Roosevelt dimes (1946 to present)
Jefferson nickels (1938 to present)
Susan B. Anthony dollars (1979-81, 1999)
BU American Silver Eagles (1986 to present)
Washington quarters (1965 to 1998, no silver yet)
5 sets of State Quarters (up to ND)

And then there is my "unique individual denomination set" -- one of each denomination of U.S. coin. I need a Double Eagle and a $3 gold to complete that.

Fun idea, DJ. Thanks for asking.

Washington quarters 1932 to 1998 mostly unc. (have sold)
Kennedy halves 1964 to present...All unc. and proof
Sacagawea dollars...all unc. and proof...2 sets (1 sold)
Morgan dollars....80% unc. all dollars except the 1895P (sold) started over! Big mistake!
Peace dollars...80% unc. (sold) have started another set.
Buffalo nickels...working on 3rd and 4th sets (many unc.)
Liberty (V) Nickels in circulated condition with some unc. (Sold recently)
U.S. Silver Eagles...numerous sets...sold a few but still have 4 sets in the house and numerous singles.
Statehood Quarters...numerous sets in unc.
Franklin half dollars...two sets in unc. and proof...(sold one)
U.S. Type sets....Completed two sets (sold)
European Union (Euros) two sets still here...all in unc.
German silver euro commemoratives...complete set since 2002

And for what it is worth I am still working the Buffalo nickels, Standing Liberty quarters, Shield nickels, Kennedy halves, Canadian Type Set (older), Australian Mob of Roos and Australian Silver Kangaroos. Also numerous silver euro coins when I can acquire them.
Also working Euro $2 circulating commemoratives in unc.
And, I have a full set of Canadian 1/2 ounce silver wolves!!! (only takes one to make this set) I wonder if they will make an album?
I am sure there is more but this is what readily comes to mind! None the less I have had a ball in my lifetime and will continue to enjoy the hunt!

Completed Kennedy-P&D - 1964 thru 2006 - no proofs
Franklin-PD&S - 1948 thru 1963 - no proofs
Liberty Walking-PD&S - 1916 thru 1947 - no proofs
Sacagawea-PD&S - 2000 thru 2006 - proofs
Eisenhower-PD&S - 1971 thru 1978 - proofs
ASE- Uncirculated - 1986 thru 2006

Close Barber Half-PD&S - missingt 8
Morgans-PDS&CC - missing 14
Peace-PD&S - missing 1
SBA-PD&S - missing the 3 varieties
ASE Proofs - missing 5
Indian Head Cents- missing 5

I've several others I'm working on, but they're not far enough along for me to worry about completion yet.

And, as far as worrying about security - except for the newer issues, all my coins are in well-circulated condition, and I doubt they'd hold much value to anyone else, but mI love 'em.

Ralph

I recently completed my first set of silver coins -- Franklin half dollars in circulated condition (actually, 6 or so Uncs).

I had a thread in the trading section asking for help with my circulated Washington quarter set. I have finished it except for the two keys (thanks for the trades ).

What are you missing? Rare ones?

I won't complete my set until I assassinate everyone who's out there identifying new VAM's. They're finding them faster than I can collect them.
Rest in Peace
