Hello. Here is continuation of my previous topic:

https://goccf.com/t/173071

As I promised, I am sending new pictures of this nice coin. What I can tell, when I finally got this coin home - fortunately, luster is showing and is very very nice. But... coin has scratch at reverse (9 hour) and from right angle is very visible. Also this scratch looks to be from modern times.

Despite this, I really like my first Mercury dime:) So once again I invite you to grading. Thank you.

Nice dime, without the scratch I'd grade AU-55, with it net AU-53.

Man, I love the Mercury dime design! And this is a beauty!

Congratulations on your purchase. I see an AU-50 coin.

AU53FB nice looking coin, yes that is a small rim Cud on the reverse too! The scratch is probably from a staple done when removing it from a holder. Sad to say almost all coins with light scratches happen by removing them from holders where the staple was not fully removed, a lesson for all collectors! I have a super high end Morgan VAM that without the light staple scratch would be worth at least a thousand dollars more.
