Absolutely! We can start a thread on that in a few years. I look forward to it.

Thanks.

I think it happened in World Coins and Currency.

I'll try to post something about this in Family Topics later.

Guys. I almost had a heart attack for the past 3 hours. I go to add some coins to the safe, and I don't see the 55DDO. I knew I put it in there but it wasn't there. So I started frantically looking everywhere, garbage included! I had such a feeling of anxiety. It was horrible. After I ran out of places to look, I started retracing my steps with my girlfriend. The last time I had it was when I took the pictures last Sunday night. I thought of where I was when I took the pics and then narrowed down it's location. I remembered taking it out of the 2x2 to take pics, and then I remember not having staples to reseal it, so then I was going to tape the edges shut. Then I remembered worrying that the chemicals in the tape could somehow affect the coin even though it wasn't touching it, and then it hit me. I put it in my album in the 09svdb slot. That was one of the most frantic 3 hours of my life and I had to share the scare with y'all!

Oh my gosh, I would have frantic as well - I was practically holding my breath until I got through your email.

So glad you found it.

That sounds awful. I will frequently put something somewhere and forget where I left it, but never with something that valuable.

Yea. There was some commotion when I was putting the coin away so I forgot that it was no longer in the 2x2. I was so relieved when I remembered where it was!
Rest in Peace

I can't remember what we lost but I do remember my husband and I looking through the trash for it -- whatever it was -- decades ago. I suppose everybody misplaces something at some point in their life.

Glad it was just a case of forgetting where you put it.
