Agree with VF but scratched. Regardless I like these large old silver pieces of history.

Yes, these are beyond normal wear. Not worthless, but would significantly decrease value. By how much? Tough to say. Whatever someone is willing to pay. Details coins will typically pull in 40%-60% of what a problem free example will bring. Rarity of the damaged coin, and more importantly how significant the damage is are a couple factors.

I am at XF details as the coin is not showing much wear. The value is in the $180 to $200 range. Attached is one that sold recently on eBay for $183. I like yours better.
