. I don't really see anything special about the reverse though, except a semi damaged surface. A misaligned die is a completely separate topic here where the obverse die gets shifted slightly relative to the reverse and then you could get a 'double rim'.

I agree that this coin was subjected to extreme heat to possibly separate the cladding from the copper core.
