Excellent trio for a type set. Well balanced for consistency and eye appeal. That said, I'm more into the other trio of VG's. Few, if any, get better as they age and wear.

That's a great Barber type set! Nice to have the tie-in with your father's collecting interest and also having some examples from his personal collection, as well.

hfjacinto, I have this 1911 in an ICG MS-65 holder. I picked it up for a very reasonable price several years ago. It's one of a number of mint state Liberty nickels in my collection. I like them, too. I would like to add a PCGS or NGC example in MS-65 someday.   Paul Bulgerin
