It's been quite a while since I've posted last. I helped my 11yo son find the last piece he needed for his dime type set he was building. His interest in coins all started after he found both a Mercury and a silver Eisenhower in the Coinstar return tray.

After a lot of searching, I couldn't find any six dime holders so I decided to make one for him. I used some black acrylic sandwiched between two clear pieces. All I need now is to square up the edges and drill four holes for the mounting screws.

I think it's fantastic the he's getting numismatic pleasure (and presumably knowledge too) from this Dime Type Set!

What's next?
