I don't see any wear, just a trace of rub that suggests AU-58. Luster looks weak. I notice what looks like a cut on the reverse shield. However, this "cut" passes below the vertical shield lines and it is present on other examples of this date on the Heritage site. I presume it's from a die crack or other die defect. |

Razor sharp, AU-58 even with the dull surfaces.

AU-58 or MS-63. I would be interested in post conservation photos if you choose to conserve it.

I did end up sending it for conservation. I don't see any major difference in the coin from trueviews so maybe in hand I'll be able to tell. As far as I know it was accepted to be conserved so we will see.
