What a great haul, Jason! As for the potential quarter planchet, weight and diameter are needed.

I have another quarter planchet in my collection, so I pulled it out to compare. The dimension matches and it has the slight chamfered edge as well. As for the weight, I don't have a scale.

The transit token is also collectible. Consider placing that into a 2x2 for safekeeping as well.

Weight would be helpful, but looks genuine to me. Nice little haul. You should ask them to save all their rejects for you in the future. John1

I'm surprised that's all they had.

Went by City Hall today and stopped by and the Parking manager had some reject coins again for me. It was pretty full of Canadian quarters and other world coins. The only good ones were a 1936 UK six pence (silver) and a 1953 UK six pence.

Surely a quarter blank has all the correct physical specifications for a quarter, except perhaps diameter. Why would it be rejected by a parking meter? The fact that it failed indicates to me that it's probably not a quarter blank.
