This is my little piece of equipment, cost all of $65.00. My son bought it for me on Boxing Day.

I know the price shows $79.95, but...Officeworks have them on their website for $65.00 and Harvey Norman matched the price. Officeworks now have them on back order, but if HN have them in stock, you'll get it straight away. I absolutely love my new toy!

OK, back down to business, tennis is starting now:

Can you use these to search for errors without the need of a loupe?

I don't see why not, I imagine it might be a little slow at first. Once you get the hang of it, it may be brilliant. I still use a loupe as any noodling I do is usually in front of the TV. You'll be certain to find some errors you won't see with a loupe.

Awesome shots. The clarity & quality of the images is fantastic. Loving your error collection. Nancy, I believe somehow that you are the Queen of the Errors.
Maybe they should replace the Queen on the obverse with you.
Instead of ELIZABETH II, it could be NANCY I.
As for the Kaiser Baas Digital Microscope http://www.kaiserbaas.com/kaiser-ba...l-microscope Officeworks have it for $65, but Ted's Cameras also match the price. Officeworks take Paypal (but with Ted's the price matching thing is all good, so I am off to pick it up soon...very exciting).

Here's the nose from the 20c 2001 Queensland coin. I took it on Nancy's recommended device. It works awesome.

Thanks for the recommendation.
I still have to play with it a little more. It's the first shot I've taken.

But I'm looking forward to looking at all the little bits & knick knacks that my coins have.
This'll be awesome for 1919 & 1920 dot pennies.
