I was grading it a it a MS 66 or 67. The reasons: 1. The ear is clearly defined. 2. The lapels, though not crisp, still there. 3. The tie if well defined and clear. What could bring it down would be the two spots on the back, next to the "O" and "E".

Im in at MS-66

I had an MS-66 PCGS with marks like that on the back so I don't think they will hold it back too much.

Oh wait, what is that going on under the right wheat stalk?

And thank you for such a informative first post.

Pman and captainkurt you also are right on

I have said before that bright light and high mega pixel camera's really show any negative a MS coin has.
This coin looks much better than it does in the pictures.

ANACS MS 66

I did notice a lot of little scratches on the obverse but I figured it look like it was in a holder so I figured they where on there.

I think it is a really nice steel cent, I bet it would go minimum MS65 today, might crossover at 66 but not any higher.
