There are some of the shield stars that are weak, but I am not sure it is wear? The gown line across the leg is soft and the breast of the eagle is soft. Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6385 Posts	Posted 02/02/2007 4:49 pm I'd go with AU-50 based on detail. The softness on shield and head look like strike weakness, not wear. At the AU-50 level there should be quite a bit of original luster remaining. If luster is impaired or absent that might confirm Tbar's observation about cleaning. Regardless, it's an attractive coin.
