Beautiful coin and it is a tough one. I think I would go with XF-40 plus. There are some of the shield stars that are weak, but I am not sure it is wear?
The gown line across the leg is soft and the breast of the eagle is soft.

I'm thinking the coin is at least a choice AU, but this is another one that definitely needs to be viewed in hand. The surfaces look great.

This coin looks au50-55.

I am a little concerned about the reverse fields, there looks to be signs of a harsh cleaning.

I'd go with AU-50 based on detail. The softness on shield and head look like strike weakness, not wear. At the AU-50 level there should be quite a bit of original luster remaining. If luster is impaired or absent that might confirm Tbar's observation about cleaning. Regardless, it's an attractive coin.

TLS-This SLQ looks very similar in quality to one that is graded XF-40 by anacs.

I will go with the XF-40 crowd. It's a great looking SLQ.
