Not at all, it was part of my father-in-laws collection. It came in a old capitol plexiglass holder.... He also had one of them with wheat cents, including the 1909-S VDB which we sold at a auction through Scotsmans in St. Louis, thats why I never thought it would turn out this way. Wornslick Pillar of the Community United States 1304 Posts	Posted 04/30/2012 8:09 pm Thanks David, I am starting to see it now, even though I don't want to. The voice of reason, Mrs. Wornslick, came home about an hour ago. I call her that because she always says the right thing to calm me down whenever I get uptight. She said that now we know that the coin is not correct and whenever we decide to sell our collection we won't unknowingly sell the coin thinking it was real. That would bother both of us alot. She said the cost of the grading and learning it wasn't real was the price of an education, I like that. I am planning to take the coin to my next coin club meeting and pass it around and let them see it. Hopefully we all will learn something just like I do here. Report this Post to the Staff
