Here is my current Peace dollar Dansco.    I have grown tired of the "Raw" format of the coins and have decided to do everything in PCGS MS-63 or higher. Here is my start. 1921   1922  1922-D   1922-S Coin looks far better in hand then in the picture.  1923   1924   1925   I know it is not much yet, but I have just started and the price of some the "D" Mint and "S" mint are quite high in this rating. Hope my wife doesn't kill me before I finish it...  |

Really nice! Both sets. I was thinking of doing the same thing, but after that last comment, I'm thinking it's out of my league. Good luck!

I'm surprised the 1928 is an AU58 given the obvious coin mark hits to the Obverse

On the 1928, those scratches on the neck and field are on the case and not the coin?

sweet collection the 1923 and 24 are beauties and I recently upgraded my F 1928 to an AU as well

Kidding aside, very nice. I hope you keep both sets. That is my intention. The Raw set will go to my youngest who is really interested in coins as well. The slabbed set will be for retirement purposes in the next 15 years. Probably take 15 years to finish it at the rate I am going and the prices in MS-63. I am thinking about selling the "P" coins, except the 21, and upgrading those to MS-64 as those are still reasonable. That will happen once the set is done. |

I hate slabs so my suggestion would be to break them all out and put in your Album. Keep all the little stickers from the slabs though. Even that makes little difference in the future if you want to sell them since so few would believe those stickers are for those coins.
Since I never sell coins, again, I'd put them all in the Album so it's easier to see them all at one time. Then you could show them to your wife and she might not think they cost so much if in an Album.
