The 1962 is red - not sure if that matters.. Never knew what the difference between an MS and an MS-red was.

The 1989D has some heavy reverse die scratches which make an interesting coin but I doubt it adds much if any value.

What is going on with the date on the 1989? It looks doubled in one pic....lighting?

Odd to that it does not appear to be Machine Doubling since the numbers are clearly off set from the top ones. However, by the amount of offsetting on the date numbers, I would think some other features too would be doulbed.

Agreed coppercoins.com would be a good place for the coin that appears to have some doubling on the date. Look closely to see if the doubling effect was a result of your lighting or is there more doubling on the coin.

..especially, the 1962, I love the U.S. Lincoln coins have almost a complete set, you should start a collection, really a joy to collect.

i collect pre 70s cents, the 62 is worth keeping, the 89 is worth a cent.

whats going on below the Memorial on the 89? I see the die scratches but there appears to be some kind of design/impression...maybe PMD...maybe something else

I keep pennies before 1980 so I say keep the 1962.
