Looks like some light corrosion and some porous surfaces. I would grade it EF40

Actually.. it's below the last A in America...

But, It's a beauty just the same, EF-40 looks right.

I would value it at F-VF $.
Not a scarce date, I would hold out for another example.

It is not a scarce date, but this is a Snow-2 (check out the broken 2 in the date) that the seller didn't pick up on. Very cool to Cherrypick it in XF.

Yeah...EF details. That aside, it's a cool variety--Snow-2; I have the same coin.
Rick Snow calls it "quite scarce" in his attribution guide.

Ahh. Not up on all the Snow varieties. Very cool. Too bad about the problems which by the way, aren't too bad.

I think EF is a bit generous, maybe VF25/30 details. Great Snow pick though, that should make up for any loss in grade.

Snow gives this variety 3 stars and calls it 'quite scarce'. I'd love to know a population estimate on this variety, it is definitely pretty cool.

I'll post a close up of the date here when I get it.

Either call or email Rick Snow and ask him about it. He has a store in Tucson and you can get his info off the Internet. Not sure if he spends much time on this site.
