Coinstar Finds! (Including Bank Counters And Other Machines)

This is beginning to sound like a broken record checked one machine today and found all of these inside reject tube. No silver but quite a bit of coinage. Haven't found a silver in a couple of weeks but this is the third time in last 3 weeks that I have found a good handful of coins in reject tube. It has been all or nothing. Most of machines I have been checking have had nothing in the reject tube. I really don't get it.

Persistence!

My unskunk streak survives another day. I found $.77 in spendables today along with 3 Canadian dimes, 2 Canadian quarters, 7 Canadian pennies and 2 Hong Kong 50 cent pieces from 1997 and 1995 that I had mistaken for game tokens.

Luckily for me I grabbed them when I did because a minute later a lady came in to dump coins. She was still there when we checked out a few minutes later, she had 2 or 3 coffee cans to go through and she meticulously checked the return slot and pocketed her rejects. There was another guy waiting behind her with a plastic jar full.

I'm experiencing a very similar Coinstar skunk streak at the moment... we've had a stretch of colder-than-normal weather here where I live with some rain also... I've found inclement weather tends to lead to fewer people cashing in their coins...

I found a restroom token today... from Indianapolis, Indiana... the Coinstar skunkyness continues for me.

Wasn't 1967 the year Canada had two different silver alloys?

Rough day went to first bank came away with nothing. Get in car no start. AAA responds tows me to repair shop. New battery installed. The day is pretty much over stop to look at a coinstar machine. In this store machine is in a corner blocked by a cart which is full of merchandise. I squeeze in behind the cart which is also blocking the reject tube. I reach around and behind the the cart and very awkwardly feel one coin. I grab figuring it's a penny, look down and to my surprise I see Mercury. Long aggravating day ends on a good note. That's my 4th mecury since I statred this hobby a few monthe ago. THE SILVER SKUNK STREAK ENDED TONIGT.
