***Roman, or others, if you read this... maybe repost this on the PCGS board (I don't think I've seen these on there) and let's get this taken care of***

This guy has 5-digit feedback, 10 years selling... so clearly well-established, and I'm sure I've seen plenty of "normal" material from him over the years. Yet, he's been dribbling these garbage pieces out over the past two months (search his completed items), and now this "wholesale" lot actually sold!:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Collection-...120996276421

PLUS he has more individual lots up now...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Spain-Pilla...130785024058
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mexico-Colo...110964168193

He even threw out one of the ubiquitous Santiago Charles III 8R fakes (with the usual touch of playing stupid about what mint it is):

I dare say these really shouldn't be that deceptive to the average collector of $250 coins... let alone a long-time seller of such things. He can't be this stupid, right? Which means...

Now, I hadn't bothered reporting this b/c I figured the rest of ebay would surely be on it... right? Well, clearly this is still going strong... So, has no one reported this? Maybe others HAVE reported it but ebay hasn't acted b/c it's an established seller? Anyway, I just sent a detailed message to the ebay.com/ccw link ("Coins Community Watch")... To the usual knowledgeable Spanish coinage ppl on here... maybe you'll do the same. Considering this is especially troubling coming from a Western seller, maybe this is even worth asking any important "names" you keep contact with to chime in to ebay on this?

Either way, I actually hope this ends soon b/c (if you see completed items) this is rapidly pushing towards a 5-figure sucker job.

That guy is not safe at all, and selling a lot of crap ... he is on my "bad list" on the facebook group.
I've stopped reporting those coins as ebay was not acting, maybe if we all report about the same seller at the same time it would work ?

Strange fakes swamperbob - these seem like silver? wash - we can see the debased metal (lead?) coming up on the pillars and portrait. Motifs are mushy. The same effect on all denotes all modern fakes. Yes - DANGEROUS.

I agree strange that they are passing. Most that I have seen (50 or so this past year) have all been variations of copper-nickel either low in weight or a bit too thick to make up for density. There was a while a year to two ago when there were many modern silver (60-70% pure) range - but not so much lately.

For anyone trying to reach me I have had PC problems. I got attacked by a virus that erased my entire memory. I am still trying to recover everything I lost. This is a new laptop I got just today. The other one is still "in the shop".

I do have carbonite as a back-up system which worked fine the last two crashes so hopefully everything will be back in about 5 days time.

I'm too lazy to bother make the effort here (excuse me, I am confident your $400 coin is fake, trust me, I know...). Anyone else inclined? This seller has more legit material than the one I started the thread about... but this piece really should raise eyebrows to a coin person. Wonder if he got it from dinsdale?

Mr dinsdale is back under another account...
I contacted trading standards about him here in the UK - if anyone has been a victim then there is some recourse - providing he is a business seller. The counterfeit would need to be confirmed by a 3rd party though, (it's no good just "betting" as we had in another thread.)

The same Dinsdale user ID (roydins...uk) that posted the ones I originally noted in this thread is still being used.

As for this recent piece, I would hope it's just a one-off piece, not a(nother) pattern.
