The reverse looks F12. The obverse is at best a VG10. I would have put VG10 on this quarter. Nice!

It looks VG10 to me. Neither the obverse nor the reverse look like a F coin. The coin look nice and the surfaces are quite clean, but wear dictates no more than a VG grade. Resubmitting it will either upgrade it to a VG10 slab or keep it as VG8. About 50-50 chance IMO. Anyways, I really like this coin .

My first impression was VG-10.

It does look strong for a VG8. I agree with everyone that it could go VG10.
ICG is fine for many coins. This being one of them!

It looks like a great honest coin. I'm guessing VG 08

ICG probably put a VG8 label on it - but I think it's a VG10 too!

the dig at the date on the PCGS example you posted wouldn't pass on a more modern coin (1900's on) today but this older classic type stuff gets away with it with out a details grade being assigned. Your coin is nicer I think. The CAC sticker on the example. That shows it should be a VG10 or at least on the high end of VG8, and they liked it for the grade assigned. I'm standing with my original assesment.
