I acquired my Classic Head Half Cent for my slabbed 7070 PCGS collection and wanted to see what the CCF has to say about it in comparison to PCGS.

Thank you for your interest!

I call it a EF-40. I might go 45 if the rim ticks weren't there. She is a beauty I would be happy to own.

Man, this is a beauty!! You don't see this much detail very often!!

I don't think the slight rim damage would prevent a grade.

I'm going with AU-58, maybe MS-60.(possibly lacquered?)

Nice rich color. Strong strike. The 34 and 35 had good solid strikes so this is typical. Shes a beauty and will look good in your 7070. I grade this AU55. Thanks for sharing it

A beautiful well preserved 1/2 cent, easy AU in my eyes. Stellar color and eye appeal.

I'm in at AU53 very nice. Hope they didn't give details for the rim, I see some begining of a bump and some small dings on it.

I almost over-looked (took my blinders off) this one while I was searching for a 1809/6 Half Cent;
