State Quarters of Canada
No, Provinces and Territories!!
Bad news - you won't get a complete set. The Inuit-majority territory of Nunavut separated from the Northwest Territories in 1999, a few years after the Quasquicentennial (just go along with it) of 1992. To make up for this glaring omission, a special Toonie was issued in 1999 to commemorate Nunavut:

But if you want all the circulating Canadian commemorative quarters?
- 1, 1967, Canadian Centennial (exists in either 50% or 80% silver, but almost nobody wants one of each composition because it's very hard to tell them apart)
- 1, 1973, Mountie Centennial
- 12, 1992, Provinces and Territories
- 12, 1999, Millennium
- 12, 2000, Millennium
- 1, 2002, Canada Day
- 1, 2004, Remembrance Day (colourized red)
- 1, 2004, Ile Sainte-Croix
- 2, 2005, Alberta and Saskatchewan Centennials
- 1, 2005, Year of the Veteran
- 1, 2006, Canadian Medal of Bravery (note: this can be awarded to anyone from anywhere as long as they save a Canadian)
- 1, 2006, Breast Cancer Awareness (colourized pink)
- 1, 2008, 90 Years since Armistice (colourized red)
- 12, 2007-2009, Vancouver Olympics/Paralympics 2010
- 6, 2009-2010, Olympic Moments (3 colourized, 3 uncolourized)
- 1, 2010, 65 Years since V-Day (colourized red)
- 6, 2011, Canadian Conservation (3 colourized, 3 uncolourized)
- 8, 2012, War of 1812 Bicentennial (4 colourized, 4 uncolourized, we won)
This makes 79 commemorative quarters total! Bad news: Canadian quarters will slip right through holes meant for American quarters, but I think generic millimeter-size album pages exist (my catalog says 23.88, American quarters are 24.3).
American quarters are plentiful in Canadian circulation, so I'm putting together a folder of circulated
State Quarters because I'm not jaded to them. However, I've heard that Canadian quarters in American circulation are more closely policed, so it might be harder to find them. And the colourized ones are hoarded even in Canada.
But I'd be glad to help anyone working on this set if you just want average circulated ones - and forget about a slabbed set, because ICCS only does flips.
