That's a beautiful set, GR58. How long did it take you to complete?

Quite an achievement! I'm not real keen on push in recess albums for proofs. see both sides with clear slide protection a bit better, but still the risk of light scratching to the coins. Who has better ideas for dimes as nice as these?

Quote: That's a beautiful set, GR58. How long did it take you to complete? Thanks Hondo It has been a couple years since I put this set together, from what I remember I was doing this set at about the same time I was doing my first Jefferson and 32 to 98 Washington set. I spent a good part of two years putting the three together. Finding the early years in better looking raw coins was a challenge. Went to a lot of different coin shops and coin shows. Broke open a lot of mint and proof sets for the 65 to date coins. On sets like these the 82 and 83's are harder to find nice .. because there are no mint sets. Only slabbed coin I broke open for this sets was the 1979S TY II.

I hope my Dansco looks this nice upon completion. I agree that Roosevelt's are underrepresented, maybe I'll take a few pictures in the next couple of days and throw them on here.

That looks really nice GR58! Love the presentation. I am a little scared to try one of these albums but it does look great! If you ever get a 1982 no mint mark you'll have to add it! :) I have thought about trying one of these for the Lincoln Memorial cents just to get my feet wet with Danscos.

I always enjoy seeing your sets and this one is awesome! I might do this set down the line also.

A fitting tribute to Mr. Roosevelt:
He had polio. He was a major supporter of the March of Dimes. (Polio research) Those of you who are too young to remember standing for hours in a hot sun to get a flu shot in the 1950s might not know this bit of history. A series of three shots needed to be given. Two I got at our doctor's office but the third was a held for the public at our local hospital.
Yes, the lowly dime is raised to a new significance when seen through this historical lens.
NICE LOOKING DIMES!

Great set.
It really shows that you took some pains assembling it.
A lot of dimes are not very attractive in Unc.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

Nice set dude. I am working on that one as well. I have quite a few holes to fill. I decided to finish off the quarters album first though.

Thank you all for the positive comments.
This is a nice set to do, some of the coins are hard to find , but no real super high priced ones.
As clad king said it can be hard o find nice looking clad coins, even from mint sets ..... But they are out there.
