Today the 7070 I won in GR58's auction on here the other day came in.. And as well as the album it came with 10 coins!! That definitely helped make the album price easier to digest. Even though I think the price was quite fair, $50 is a lot to spend on a album.. But with what was included its just an amazing purchase! So I'd like to give a huge thank you to GR58! This was extremely generous and more than kind of you! There really should be more people in this world with generosity like yours! It really would be a better place. You absolutely made my day Included was: (Approximate grades) 7070 album 1851 large cent (F) 1868 2cent nickel (F/VF) 1883 no cents Liberty V nickel (VF-20) 1937 buffalo (EF) 1943 steel cent (MS+) 1943-P War Nickel (MS+) 1910 Barber dime (VF) 1945 merc (MS, maybe AU+) 1980-S proof SBA 2003-S proof Sacagawea I'll post another topic with my 7070 progress so far soon... So I know how far I've gotten and when I started. I put a bunch of coins in tonight (even cracked 2 out ) but not all I have so far.. Gonna be a while before its done! And probably never done as far as upgrades go...

Nathan Good to hear you got the album I hope you didn't mind me sending a few extra coins. I thought it would be good for you to have some hole fillers to get you started. I am sure you have some nice coins ready to go into the set. It will be good to see some update to your progress as you fill your new album.

What a great start on your 7070. Your son and your 7070 were both born together and can grow together.

A wonderful gesture from GR58, but it does not surprise me at all. As a previous recipient of his generosity, I can only add that his intentions are always honourable and his good will consistent.

Very classy GR58! I had bid on it and am glad it is going to a good home. You know NathanASE, you are now obligated to post when you add to it.

I absolutely agree!! Kindness like this is an amazing thing! I can't believe I never saw the Jbuck Ike thread, that's really cool, it's got a fitting home! And GR58, you truly are an amazing, kind hearted, generous man! Quote: Your son and your 7070 were both born together and can grow together. Absolutely!! I bet he'll be an adult before its "finished" to my liking though Ask and you shall receive... Here's where I'm at so far... I really haven't had time to put all the ones I have in... For example I have the whole last page but haven't decided if I just want to break the 3 40% bicentennial's out of a set or buy new ones raw, I only have one proof and one UNC set so I don't know if I wanna take them out.. Lol.. And I haven't gotten around to pulling my SBA's or Sacagawea's out yet... Although the proofs GR58 sent may go in... I'm thinking maybe the whole last page as proofs...? Proof toners actually. I have other comm proofs as well as ASE's... So that may be kinda cool? Different at least.. Actually since I've got it I've been thinking about it and I think my goal is going to be a full 7070 of toners.. As many of you know there absolutely my favorite, and I already have a bunch of different ones needed, I just couldn't bring myself to crack a few out... ... Yet... Same with my 1843 Seated dollar... I got it slabbed for free with the ANACS insider special... And I agree with the grade (EF-40) but they said its cleaned which I strongly disagree with... At least to the degree of being no market acceptable. But the I want to show my buddy at the coin shop I bought it from before I crack it.. So he can laugh too... Lol. But once I show him that ones getting cracked for sure! And I have a bunch of the other open holes too, but only the ones in my other sets... The ones I put in so far have been from GR58 and extras I had... So here we go... Where I'm at so far (not close ups of all of them.. The toners I put in so far were extremely hard to capture (buffalo, merc, rossie, silver washington, stone Mtn) but you guys get the idea... Once I crack the others I'd like, when I talk myself into it I'll post a progress thread..
