Sorry MODS I know this thread doesn't exactly apply here... But there is a user on here by the name of Marbury... he is from the UK...

I have no other way of letting him know that someone is on his e-mail account and trying to phish for money...

If anyone else on here has any correspondence with him... becareful as they are using his previous contacts to try and get money...

I wanted to get him the message somehow to hopefully prevent just his e-mail from getting hacked but his whole identity...

This is normally not the appropriate place for such a thread but marbury518 is actively participating at CCF and this is the forum most likely to catch his immediate attention. Obviously we want him to see it ASAP the next time he logs in.

I received a "suspicious" e-mail from Marbury (Julian) requesting I send monney. I replied to the sender of the e-mail, "Tell me what coin I last purchased from you, the grade and the T.P.G." Only the "real" Marbury would be able to answer this question.
The sender of this questionable e-mail NEVER replied back.

Right now I believe that they're phishing the contacts list for money..... my issue is how they actually got control of the account in the first place.

This was the only other place I knew I may contact him that was safe for me.... I don't know what other accounts of his they have access to.

I can only hope he gets this.. Once again I really appologise as I know this is not the right place for this... but I figured as a community we also should look out for others.... I know I would want others to extend this kind of effort to me if my accounts were hacked.

If you purchased a coin from him then why don't you send him a letter?

I haven't seen the email either, but you guys know that anyone can send an email with your email in the from address right? It is a common tactic that people use, send an email from an account asking for money to be wire/send somewhere. All with out ever having access to the account. It is similar to putting any name you want on the return address of a letter...
