Place the tube with the open end face down on a concrete side walk. Gently use a ball peen hammer and tap the bottom of the coin tube where the coin is stuck. That will sometimes loosen things up. Once you get it loose just tap the tube upside down to try and get gravity to move the coin further towards the opening.

I've used that method on old cent and nickel tubes with lots of success over the years.

Just a thought...

If you put the tube in cold water it will make the metal shrink more than the plastic,
maybe making it easier to get out, worth trying if better methods fail.

Heat the tube with a hair dryer, it will come right out.

I was going to say forget the tube and use a firecracker but bobby131313's idea is a lot better.

Any way to get a small hole in the bottom of the tube without hitting the coin....red-hot paperclip? Then poke with a toothpick

At the time I posted this it had just passed midnight to the perfect day to solve your problem. Tell it this year Phil wants some help and ask it politely if it will try to come out and see its shadow.

Tap the inverted tube (open side down) on the desk to pop the coin out.

It happens to me all the time, this works well.

It won't damage the tube. (If you are putting coins in tubes chances are the tube is worth more than the coin...)

Every one is making this to complicated. Simply take that roll to that desert in Africa. Lay it on the hot sand for a few days. Then submerse in Apple Juice. After a few days of soaking in the Juice, use a hack saw and cut off the bottom of the plastic tube. The coin should now fall out.
Why the desert? Why the Apple Juice? Just wanted to say something.
Myself, I'd just put it on ebay as a novelty item.
