I just want to know If I am correctly identify the errors if any I have been wrong many times before...

Picture is silver but coin is red came from unc. roll but had scratches.

First time testing my usb camera, I think I need to mod it by breaking of the lights and add extra external white light and a longer standholder.

Issue #1 full BIE

Try covering the lights with wax paper.

I just cut a piece off the roll, used a rubber band to put it over the lens and poked a hole in the middle. It's not perfect but it works okay.

What do you mean by "Full BIE doubling on 7" The Date and Liberty are two different devices.

The doubling on the 7 is Die Deterioration Doubling. Not the collectible type of doubling..ie Hub Doubling.

Try making a wedge with a 2x2 and angle your coin that way. Cuts down on the glare.

Jayman931, I forgot to upload the BIE Image, but I have added it now, I know the 7 is not a double die but Die Deterioration but finding anything is still new to me only been at this hobby around one month

thanks 52Raymo I will try that how high on the wedge?

BIE, heavy die wear on the date and a die chip in the left wheat grains. Just age raising it ugly head after the die was used past retirement.

Oh...and welcome to the family! There are a lot of great people and a few that know a little about coins :) I didn't mean to sound crass my comment came off that way. Sometimes I can be straight forward and blunt. for example.....Minor Die Chips and Die Deteriorations don't really count as errors....they are just part of mint tolerances.

Experiment to find what works for you. Mine is between an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch. Too big and your coin gets egg shaped.

You might try a piece of plastic grocery bag over the LED light source. This will help reduce glare, defusing the light source. If it is a hot bulb then this won't work as it will melt.
