I haven't been posting as much lately due to my job getting increasingly harder, but I just HAD TO SHARE my experience last night! It began when my sister in law came up to me at church last night and said, "Hey, are these worth anything and do you want them?" I looked down and she had 3 Standing Liberty quarters (no dates visible). I was like, "Yes! Where did you get these?" Needless to say, the local Shell station gave them to her in her change. I sat there during church just ITCHING to get over to that Shell station and see if there were any others... So I flew over as soon as I was able and to my surprise there were some left and the cashier gladly sold them to me... and here is the payoff:  I'm going to take time tonight to look for ANY dates, but from a quick look I only saw one ending in a "0" so we'll see... Glad to post on here again!     |
