Got this 1914 from the LCS, graded MS61 with wood grain obverse. Normally I am not looking for anything but lustrous copper color, but this was too nice to pass up. Enjoy!  |

The dealer at the LCS graded it. I find his grades to be pretty fair, and rarely take issue with them. Sometimes, I think he grades a bit conservatively, which is fine with me!

Very pretty. A nice, sharp obverse. I love how crispy Lincoln's bust was struck on early cents.

61? That's too low! Looks to be a 63 in my eyes.....GREAT LCS FIND!

I have to agree with BadThad, that looks much nicer than a 61. 61's are usually pretty baggy or mushy. This is neither.

I agree, I think it was graded a little low, but like I said, if his grades are off, they are conservative, which I will take any day of the week. When I saw it, I thought MS62 or 63, so I definitely did not want to pass it up. I think this one is fast becoming my favorite Lincoln on the first page of the album.
