What coins will you start or finish in the new year ? I think I will continue with one of my favorite series. Walking Liberty halves. I want nice circulated semi-keys. Tony

Most all of my 2015 purchases will be for my Dansco 7070 type set I have been working on for several months now.
Pretty much that has been my focus this year, but I did get distracted with the 50th Anniversary Kennedy 4 coin set and the Coin and Currency set late this year with the Native American $.

My primary is to concentrate on finishing my nickel collection (1866-Date P,D,S). Which also includes upgrading whenever possible. When I decided to take on this challenge (many, many years ago) it seemed almost impossible. However, I'm slowly starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Currently I'm missing a couple Indians and Libertys. Along with about half of the Shields. My secondary is to sell some extra Morgans to help fund the completion of my Dansco 7070 (missing 5).

Still working on my Library of Coins Vol 33-34 type set. Not too concerned with series collecting as I see no point to paying oogles of money to get a highly-counterfeited coin whose metal was struck slightly differently. I just like the designs.

I hope to finish my first complete set of Jefferson nickels. I'm still looking for a proof 1940 and a proof 1942p.

I surely won't finish this year or ever, but I'll continue on with Connecticut coppers. I am at 36 varieties, I'd like to add a couple more this year.

Just have to finish my all FSB Mercury dime album. Only 5 more to go. Oddly enough, none are the supposed to be hard ones to find.

Start? Probably none. Finish? Still probably none. I do hope to get my 7070 down to three empty holes or less.

I'm with Celticsoul, those early dollar coins are a bit pricey and that's what I have left in my 7070. I started a Barber Half set before Christmas and finding it fun. Kind of hard to find any of them with a full liberty that doesn't cost an arm and a leg though. I dropped my standards a little to make it a little easier to finish.

I don't have any plans to start a new set. I'm going to try to finish a couple of easy ones. I've got a bunch of BU Presidential dollars to fill and 12 more Silver Proof Sets. I'm trudging along on a tough hill to climb with my American Silver Eagle PCGS Proofs in PR70. It's probably going to take me another 3-4 years and I'll never get the '95W. I got all of the PR70 slabs from the 80's and 2000's. Now the hard (expensive) part begins... finishing the 1990's. At the same time, I'm two coins short of a full set of VG to BU Mercury dimes. I'm missing the two most expensive ones... '16D and '21P.
