I keep telling myself to buy less, more better
quality coins.

But I have a weakness when I can buy coins at a
low price.

I do have a plan, but I don't always remember what the
plan is.

Are there any others here that have this same problem.

Uh...nope. Never needed to have my purchases double bagged. LOL

But, yeah, I over-buy sometimes, and it's always stuff that's NOT on the list.

I did find it funny .. when they were putting the coins in the bag .. they said .. better double bag them.

Getting sets like these are a lot of work. Not just cutting the mint sets up .. I try to pick out the better grade coins .. and with the Ike's I will get into my Ike box
and cull out some lower grade coins.

I do have all these coins many times over ... I just can't
stop myself from getting more.

Keep on going; every set you crack makes the rest more valuable.

I see you have added another Prestige set.

You cannot crack that one, but the others are fair game.

I love that second picture. That's the sort of thing that excites me. I still remember the feeling I had last October when I bought my first real hoard. Nothing like it. I agree with jbuck. Don't crack that prestige set.
Rest in Peace

Yes ... when I looked at the stack I had from a week or so ago, I saw I did not have a 1986 .. so had to pick that one up. Makes my Prestige stack 86 - 93. I have cracked Prestige
sets in the past. I am starting to hold on to some sets.

They are cool .. but not really sure why I have them ..
they take up a lot of space.

If no one cracks these .. then they might never go up in value. Most of these greysheet right above face.

The last auction I was bidding in.. there was 3600 large pennies... unfortunately I was slightly outbid... but I figured they would've had to double bag that lot.. I didn't even need any of the dates... just wanted to practice making love tokens... so.. I understand ya! To the Nth degree

I like them. The three I have were gifts from my mother, so they have sentimental value. Acquiring the rest of them is on my long list, meaning I have to wait for both money and space.

Permanent members of the collection, then. Say no more.

I would love to have a coin purchase that needed to be double bagged. Maybe you can take me shopping some day, GR58. We seem to have similar tastes.

Those type coins always hold a special place. I hope when my time comes I will pass down some good coins to my kids
and grandkids.

Sounds like fun .. I like to go coin shopping.

Funny thing for me, what I am buying has a lot to do with
what coins and currency are coming into the LCS's in my area. I might be buying modern one week and ancients the next.

Going at this rate you're going to need to be thinking about an addition to your home!

Is that a Franklin Proof Set on the bottom right of the 2nd picture. I have a bit of an issue with hoarding those too when I see then for a reasonable price.
