Hello-
I have officially been inflicted with the coin collecting bug. I have been looking lately at some Kennedy halves that I had gotten and two of them caught my eye.

They are both 1995 P Kennedy halves and both have a circular imprint (for lack of a better term) on the obverse. I initially thought it was just normal wear and tear, but I don't see any damage to the " Liberty" or "1995".

I took a picture from an angle so you could see the imprint better.

Is it an error or just post-mint wear and tear?

Thanks in advance!
Eric

You will probably realize the first 100 coins you find interesting are common things that happen to coins. When you see more and more coins, then you will spot what to look for.

Take a look at the videos in my signature line below. They are a 5 part series entitled: "Coin Fishin." Many have viewed this have enjoy this. The whole length is 2.5 hours. So take it in segments. It covers coin fishin' while searching what to keep and what to throw back. A few coin you will see, you've probably never seen before and a lot of coins on different subjects. Take a look when you get a chance.
