After an abysmal run of dimes (1 silver in 6 boxes!), I took a break and asked a teller at a branch I don't visit much if she had anything fun like halves or Ikes. She had $100 in customer wrapped halves so I took the chance, and we pulled 12 40%ers out! A great start to "summer" since it was the kids' first day after school finished.

I get about four boxes per year and mostly get burnt out checking for 70s DDO / DDRs. If like to add them to my album. I haven't found any silver in boxes but I've found a bunch of NIFCs. A couple of years ago, I picked up five customer wrapped rolls from a bank I don't usually go to and they were mostly Benjis and Walkers with a few 90% and 40% Kennedys. I think there were only five clad in there. That's my best find. |

I haven't had much luck with halves this year, but last week I was happy to find three 40% Kennedys among $23.50 in loose halves from one of my regular banks.  |

Following up on my last post above. I went back to the bank where I'd recently pulled 12 40%ers out of $100 in CWR, and the teller told me that the same customer had just cashed in another $200 in halves. I took those home yesterday hoping for similar results but tripled my success rate! 37 40% silver Kennedys.  |
