so my little silver streak continues
I personally like going to the banks with 2 armed guards and thick bullet proof glass between you and the tellers

I turned in 100 dollars of searched halves since I dont normally visit this bank. I asked for the heck of it and the lady had 60 bucks of halves
3 40% halves one really nice 68D and 2 other tarnished ones (68D and 67)
Milestone.....I FINALLY have a full roll of extra 40% JFK's!

I'm working on my first box of half dollars. I found a 1966 in the second roll, but 15 rolls later nothing else exciting, yet.

Besides silvers, proofs, post 2000, and 1974-DDO's what should I be looking for?

The 1971-D's, 1972-P's, and 1973-P's have some nice DDO's and DDR's. I would examine those closely as well.

The 1970 (40% silver) and the 1987 P&D's were not intended for circulation as well---

Also the 1972-D, 1982-P and 1983-P's may have "FG" missing on the reverse.

You bet.

I've found 4 of the 1974-D DDO's. The worst would grade about F-15 and the best would grade about AU-55. They seem to be the easiest to find.

I have tried selling a couple on ebay, but delisted it when there was no interest in it even at a starting bid of 99 cents. Best just to sock them away, I think, and have them graded at some future time. Just my 50 cents---err, I mean 2 cents.

I already have the entire collection of Walkers---so these I guess I will just save seperately and sell them to someone who needs to fill out their collection---

2 more boxes down. One produced a nice 69 and the other showed an 89 Proof and a really beat up 82 Proof along with 4 NIFC's.

There are also 1973-D and 1977-D with doubling in TRUST to be on the lookout for. Also, the '71 and 77-D struck in silver clad by error. Don't know if anyone on this site had found one yet.

I don't believe you're allowed to do this except on the BST. If he reads this thread, he'll see your request.

I tried but no dice---it won't let me. Are you a member of the forum CoinTalk?

We can exchange info there. If you're not a member, it just takes a minute to join. My username is the same there as here.
