I get boxes that have a four digit number stamped onto the bottom of them, and occasionally will have an "INSPECTED BY".. They will occasionally be dated as well. I've had mixed results from all of them, with skunk/good boxes being in all categories.
Anyway I got my two boxes today and I finally broke my dryspell! Got 2 40% total, and I was hoping for just 1! I guess the silver gods heard my prayer.

I posted this on the error forum a few days ago. It's a "clashed 71 D". If anyone has come across any please post on the error side. Thanks https://goccf.com/t/74694edit - Fix link

I had some pretty good finds yesterday. I went to two different banks, same bank but different branches, and got a total of $570 in CWR's.
40%-42 1 roll of 1967, 1 roll of 1968D (both were labeled) 1 1965, 1 1968D
Proof-6 2 1974S, 1 1978S, 1 1979S, 2 1980S
NIFC-39 10 2002, 4 2003, 6 2005, 11 2006, 2 2007, 2 2008, 4 2009
I find this really interesting. Why would all these NIFC coins show up in CWR's? And the proofs too! I'm thinking maybe someone stole a coin collection or something...Well the one bank has $470 more so I'm going to dump the ones I got yesterday and go get the new ones here pretty soon. I'll post what I find, if anything haha.

6 box total - 5 40%'s. 2 boxes still at the bank, but a rough week so far.
On a good note, I chatted up a vault teller at one of my banks this week. She has $850 in halves collected from customers over the last 8-9 months. She is saving them for me until next week.

Went to the local Wells Fargo here in Denver yesterday. Picked up a $500 box of Kennedy halves. Got skunked as far as silver goes in this box. However, picked up all key dates I needed for my album including real nice 79D, 81D and the elusive 82P. Oddly enough, I also found two nice coins - 2004P and 2006P that somehow made it into circulation. This is fun stuff - can't wait to do another box.

I just stopped at a bank I had not been to in a while, but in the past they have had a few silver halves. They had $50 in loose halves this time. Got 9 40%'s and 1 64P. Makes up for a tough weekend of roll searching.

Very nice Obla - I am jealous. Just goes to show how quick your luck can turn with these boxes and/or getting CWR's at the bank. It is also why I have not given up the boxes yet.

yeah precisely. I went through 6 skunk boxes before getting that one. overall, i'd have to say CWRs are still better. we'll see though what next weeks boxes hold.
