Congratulations, Bish, on hitting your milestone. I'll be hitting box 100 soon. Your totals are truly inspiring! I've never found a commemorative. Whatever I find, I'm happy. Silver or not, a BU coin makes it worthwhile for me.
Congratulations to the bullion find member !
Tomorrow I get last week's boxes! And normal boxes for this week too, excited. Hope they didn't screw it up!

yeah it could have been worse monks, think my biggest skunk streak is 13 boxes. Just brutal 1 90% in my last 10 boxes. Good luck to you this week. I did score 100$ in ikes this weekend, got several type 1 and 2's, no proofs or silver, no 1973 or 1977, got everything else.
Lonz, my 6 boxes from your turf were skunks. I got the cube boxes with the dark gold and white generic 10$ wrappers, got one 1987 and one gold plated, that was it.

I'm still here...just don't have much to say unless you want to hear about my skunk streak. I guess its time to move on to a different bank. Can't keep holding on to the past. My other source has even dried up. The place where I get the loose bagged stuff (without an account). I've been getting some of them with some kind of a metal zip tie. I believe that if someone sees silver, they are opening and replacing silver with clad. The only ones that aren't open have zero silver in them. Sad day.

CONGRATS BISH!
I have definitely been "hunting" vicariously through you!
@ Halfhunter - which bank(s)? Chase? That stinks - but maybe you cleared some out of this area to leave room for some good finds... hahaha... one can only wish! Good luck though!

Hey Lonz, all 6 from chase in one pick up. Hopefully that helps you out cleaning some skunks out. You close to lodi? I snagged 100$ in ikes from the merchants bank there, the other bank in that town, wouldnt sell my wife halves without an account, she seemed to think they had something good hiding there. Hit it up if you have an account there, and know what bank it was. If not some lurker on here may run over there if they know where I'm talking about....lol..... Good luck

Nice find Trapper - I have yet to find a silver proof.. Also a congrats to Bush for hitting 500. That's going to take me some time since I had to drop down to 2 boxes a week.

I went to Chase today, my dump bank, and deposited a bunch of half dollars. In the process, I notice 3 in the tray and they all look good from my perspective. I ask to buy them and he says "Just so you know, these are silver. I was going to buy them but I'll LET you have them." I politely say thanks. I was going to get the silver dime out of there too but I felt a little bad so I LET him have it :). Has anyone had a similar encounter? All three were JFK 1964's. JACKPOT.

Quote:(including 7 rolls of Mercury dimes found) I forgot to mention this That was from Bish, all the luck man....lol... Who buys a safe that the previous owner doesn't know /forgot has 7 rolls of mercs in it, only you man. Yeah on the chase bank teller tray halves, Iv only spotted silver in one teller tray, and she sold me all the halves but that one....lol....A group of old ladies at one of my regular banks. they are cool though, will order me boxes, but your not getting anything off them. They ran my brother in law outta there when he tried to order, but they will let me. I did for a few monthes but they werent productive, they always ask when I go in though.
